IT onboarding kit with devices: laptop and welcome kit, one dispatch.
The MacBook or laptop quoted from an authorised reseller, the peripherals and the branded welcome kit — packed together and delivered to the office or to the new hire's home before day one.

Yes — one vendor can supply the device and the welcome kit in one dispatch. Adalwin Commerce quotes MacBooks, iPads and business laptops from an authorised reseller, adds the peripherals IT specifies (mouse, hub, headset, sleeve), and the HR welcome kit is built on the Swpe deck from 479 live kit items; everything is packed as one consignment to the office or one tracked parcel to the new hire's home, on one GST invoice. IT keeps control of the device (enrolment and setup happen on IT's side or via the device programme); HR keeps control of the kit; the joiner gets one box on day one instead of three deliveries over a fortnight.
What is in a combined IT + HR onboarding kit?
| Owner | Items | Source |
|---|---|---|
| IT | MacBook / laptop, charger, hub, mouse, headset | Quoted from an authorised reseller; peripherals from the deck or IT's standard |
| IT | Laptop sleeve or backpack | Deck — logo-ready options |
| HR | Bottle, notebook + pen, apparel, welcome note | Deck — the standard welcome kit |
| Both | Branded outer box, printed card, asset label | Kitting |
Who does what, and when?
- 1
IT specifies
Model and configuration, peripherals, and whether the device is enrolled before or after delivery.
- 2
HR builds the kit
Per-head budget, items from the deck, sizes from the roster.
- 3
One proposal
Devices, peripherals and kit itemised; dispatch per office or per home as its own line.
- 4
One dispatch
Packed together, tracked, timed to the joining date; exceptions flagged back the same day.
What about remote hires and device security?
For a remote joiner the combined parcel goes to the home address on the roster with tracking and a named receiver. Whether the device ships enrolled or is enrolled on first login is IT's decision; the kit does not change it. For rental or leased devices, the same dispatch applies — the device programme and the welcome kit are separate lines on one invoice.
Peripherals and sleeves, live.
Hubs, chargers, sleeves, backpacks and desk items on the deck now — the half of the box that HR and IT share.

IT onboarding kit with devices, answered.
Can one vendor in India supply a MacBook and a branded welcome kit to a new hire's home?
Yes. Adalwin Commerce quotes the device from an authorised reseller, the kit is built on the Swpe deck, and both ship together as one tracked parcel to the home address on the roster, on one GST invoice.
Does IT lose control of the device if it ships with the kit?
No. Enrolment and setup stay with IT — before dispatch or on first login, as IT prefers. The kit is packed around the device; it does not touch it.
Can leased or rented laptops be included?
Yes. A rented device and the welcome kit are separate lines on one proposal and go out in the same dispatch.
How early should a device + kit order be placed?
Devices depend on configuration and stock — in-line models in about a week to ten days, built-to-order configurations longer — so brief IT's side first. The kit's three-to-four-week timeline usually fits inside it.
