Tech welcome kits: the kit engineers keep.
Charger, USB hub, cable set, wireless pad, earbuds or a desk stand — from 8 brands including Portronics, Everyday Organisers, The Backbenchers, Forever Forest — built around the desk a developer actually sits at.

A tech welcome kit for an engineer is a standard kit with the desk done properly: a GaN charger or wireless pad, a USB-C hub or cable set, a laptop stand or desk organiser, and — at the higher band — true-wireless earbuds or a power bank, plus the bottle and notebook. Budget ₹2,000–₹3,000 per head for the tech items; brand the box and one accessory, and let branded-name products ship in their own packaging. On the Swpe deck 439 tech items under ₹5,000 are live from 8 brands, MRP and MOQ shown on every card.
What tech items make sense in a welcome kit?
| Item | Why | Band |
|---|---|---|
| GaN charger or wireless pad | One charger for laptop and phone; lives on the desk. | ₹700 – ₹4,000 |
| USB-C hub or cable set | The thing every new laptop is missing. | ₹400 – ₹3,000 |
| Laptop stand / desk organiser | Ergonomics from day one, especially for WFH. | ₹400 – ₹1,500 |
| Power bank | Field and travelling roles. | ₹1,600 – ₹3,000 |
| Earbuds or neckband | Calls all day; the item people would buy themselves. | ₹1,500 – ₹5,000 |
| Mouse / keyboard | For desk-based roles when IT does not issue them. | ₹500 – ₹4,000 |
Brand it or leave the retail box?
Leave branded-name electronics in their own packaging — the brand is part of the gift. Put your logo on the outer box, the card, and one durable accessory (a laser-engraved stand or a UV-printed charger). Cables and earbuds do not brand well and do not need to.
How does this fit with the laptop itself?
If the company issues a MacBook or laptop, the welcome kit can ship in the same dispatch — the device quoted from an authorised reseller, the kit built on the deck, one consignment to the office or one parcel to the home. The IT-onboarding page covers that combined flow.

Tech welcome kits, answered.
What should a tech welcome kit for software engineers include?
A GaN charger or wireless pad, a USB-C hub or cable set, a laptop stand or desk organiser, plus the standard bottle and notebook; at a higher band add earbuds or a power bank. Budget ₹2,000–₹3,000 for the tech items.
Can the tech items carry our logo?
Chargers, stands and power banks take UV print or laser engraving. Earbuds and cables do not brand well — put the logo on the box and card and let the brand-name item speak.
Can the welcome kit ship with the new hire's laptop?
Yes. The device is quoted from an authorised reseller and the kit is built on the deck; both go out as one dispatch to the office or to the joiner's home.
