How much does a welcome kit cost per employee in India?
Quoted at your quantity, kit items on the deck run from ₹9 to ₹5,000 list price, and a finished kit is the sum of its items plus the box. A lean kit lands under ₹1,000 per head; standard kits sit in ₹1,000–₹2,000; role-specific kits with a sleeve, backpack or audio go to ₹2,000–₹5,000. How early should HR order welcome kits?
Across the catalogue the median lead time is about 7 working days for plain items and 6 for logo-branded ones, with the slowest items at 15 (catalogue census, 19 Sept 2026). Add kitting and transit. What is an employee welcome kit?

How much should a company spend on a welcome kit in India?
Under ₹1,000 per head for a lean kit, ₹1,000–₹2,000 for a standard kit, and ₹2,000–₹5,000 for role-specific kits that include a sleeve, backpack or audio. The right number depends on headcount and joiner volume; a company onboarding 300 campus hires and one hiring 10 senior engineers will sensibly spend very differently per head.
What is the minimum order for welcome kits?
It depends on the items. Across the kit-ready deck the typical minimum order is 50 units and the lowest is 1; each product card shows its own MOQ. Small companies usually mix low-MOQ items (bottles, notebooks, desk items) rather than apparel, which needs larger runs.
Can welcome kits be delivered to employees' homes?
Yes. Share the joiner roster with addresses and pincodes and each kit is dispatched as its own parcel with tracking, so remote and hybrid hires get the same box as office joiners. One order, one invoice, many addresses.
