The short answer

Order welcome kits three to four weeks before the first joining date. Across the live catalogue the median lead time is about 7 working days for plain items and 6 for logo-branded ones, with the slowest items at 15 (census of 595 kit-ready items, 19 Sept 2026); kitting adds two to three days and transit up to a week for remote pincodes. Minimum order is set per item: the most common MOQ on the deck is 50 units, many desk and drinkware items start at 10, and some at 1 — the typical minimum across kit items is 50. A small company builds its kit from low-MOQ items; a campus batch uses MOQ-50 apparel freely.

What is the minimum order quantity for a welcome kit?

There is no kit-level minimum — each item carries its own. On the deck the most common MOQ is 50 (about half of all live products), followed by 10, then 1 and 100. Apparel and embroidered items sit at the higher end; bottles, notebooks, desk plants and stationery are the low-MOQ items a five-person startup can still order. Each product card shows its MOQ, and the deck is filtered to your quantity before you see a card.

What slows a kit down?

  • Embroidery and screen print — the longest branded lead times; sticker and UV print are the shortest.
  • Apparel sizes arriving after the order — the run cannot start until sizes are in.
  • Artwork in the wrong format — send a vector logo (SVG, AI or PDF) on day one.
  • Many branded SKUs — every logo item is a separate production run; two branded items ship faster than five.
  • Remote pincodes — plan a week of transit, not two days.

Questions

Welcome kit lead times & minimum orders, answered.

How many days before joining should welcome kits be ordered?

Brief three to four weeks before the first joining date for a branded kit. Branded items run a median of 6 working days and up to 15, kitting adds two to three, and transit up to a week for remote addresses.

What is the minimum order quantity for welcome kits?

It is per item, not per kit. The most common MOQ on the deck is 50; many drinkware, desk and stationery items start at 10 or even 1. The typical minimum across kit items right now is 50.

Can a small company with five joiners order welcome kits?

Yes — build from low-MOQ items (bottles, notebooks, desk items, small tech) and skip embroidered apparel, which needs a larger run. Or order a standing stock of kits and draw down as people join.

Which branding method is fastest?

Sticker and UV print, then digital print. Laser engraving is quick on metal. Embroidery and screen print take the longest because of setup and curing. The branding-options page lists what works on what.
